After 18 years, The St Ives Constituency Conservative Association is proud to announce that Derek Thomas is our new MP.
As BBC Spotlight reported:
The new MP for St Ives, Derek Thomas, completed the clean sweep of Tory constituencies in Cornwall when he ended Andrew George's 18 year grip on the seat.
Derek Told BBC Radio Cornwall
"Thank you for putting your trust in me, I will not take that for granted. I am ready for the task ahead and looking forward to taking up the role and the great privilege of serving you."

Andrew George, Lib Dem - 16,022
Cornelius Olivier, Labour - 4,510
Rob Simmons, Mebyon Kernow - 518
